وفي هذا العمل دأب المؤلف إلى تدوين الأحداث القصصية في القرآن الكريم بالترقيم والأعداد حسب ما توفر له من مختلف الكتب التي ذكرت قصصا عن الأنبياء عليهم الصلاة والسلام.
يقسم الكتاب إلى ثلاثون فصلاً تضمنت قصصاً من القرآن تشير أحداثها إلى رقم معين، مثال: ]نبي الله موسى (عليه السلام)[ "سبعة ألف شخص من بني إسرائيل طلبوا من نبي الله موسى أن يسمعوا كلام الله (عز وجل) وذلك حينما أخبرهم بأن الله (عز وجل) كلمه وقربه إليه وناجاه، فقالوا لن نؤمن لك حتى نسمع كلام الله جهرا.
