هذا الكتاب هو محاولة جادةٌ لتقدمه المؤلفة بين يدي طلبة العلم مبنيّاً على النحو الآتي: محور الكتاب هو متن "الغاية والتقريب" في الفقه الشافعي، الذي ألفهُ الشيخ أبو شجاعٍ الأصفهاني، المولودُ سنة "434هـ"، وذلك لما لهذا المتنِ من شهرةٍ كبيرةٍ بين الشافعيَّة، ولما كان عليه من إيجازٍ في اللَّفظ، وغزارةٍ في المادَّة العلميَّةِ، لخَّص فيها مُهمَّاتِ المذهبِ الشافعي، فجاء هذا الكتاب شرحاً مبسَّطاً موجزاً للمتنِ المذكور.
وقد كانت لغة الكتاب لغةُ قريبةٌ سهلةُ، تبتعد عن تعقيدات كُتُب الفقهِ، وغوامضِ العبارات الفقهية، حيث شرح المؤلف عقبَ كُلٍّ حديثٍ ما فيه من مفرداتٍ غريبةٍ، أو كلماتٍ غير واضحةٍ؛ بالإضافة إلى ذلك تضمن الكتاب على إيجازه أحاديث الكُتُب الستَّةِ، وذلك بإستقراء شبه تامٍّ، فجعمت فيه المؤلفة غالب الأحاديث التي تصلح للإستدلال، من غير تطويلٍ أو تكرارٍ، وقد تجاوزت ألف حديثٍ شريفٍ، ورتبتها وأنزلت مواضعها وفق متن الكتاب، وجميع أحاديثِ الكتابِ مقبولةٌ من حيث الثبوتُ، لا تنزلُ عن مرتبة الحسن.
وقد اعتمدت المؤلفة في هذا الكتاب أساساً على أحاديث الصحيحين التي أجمعت الأمة على صحة ما فيهما وتلقتهما بالقبولِ، وانتقت الروايات المعتمدة عندهما للأحاديث، واستثنت الأحاديث الصحيحة التي قد يشكل على العامةِ بعض ألفاظها، كما خرَّجْت الأحاديث، وعزوتها إلى مصادرها.
