ولقد قطعنا شوطاً عظيماً في التقدم التكنولوجي وأخذ مجتمعنا العصري بالأساليب التكنولوجية الحديثة في مجال التصنيع وبقى أن نأخذ بالمنهج العلمي في المجال الإنساني فلا يكفي دعمنا الإقتصادي القومي لسداد إحتياجات المجتمع المتزايد من السلع والخدمات بل لا بد من العناية بالعنصر الإنساني حتى تكون نهضتنا شاملة متكاملة وحتى نضمن الحصول على أقصى طاقات الإنسان.
وفي نفس الوقت تحقق له أقصى درجة ممكنة من السعادة فالعناية بهذه الجوانب من شخصية الفرد تزيد من شعوره بالتكيف مع نفسه ومع مهنته ومع المجتمع الذي يعيش فيه.
كما تشعره بالرضاء والسعادة وتشجعه على تنمية قدراته وإستعداداته ومواهبه وتنتج له فرصة التحرر والإنطلاق.
ويعرض هذا البحث دور علم النفس الحديث في الإنتاج موضحاً الأساليب التي تؤدي إلى زيادة الإنتاج كما وإرتفاع مستواه كيفا.
والحقيقة المؤكدة أن موضوع علم النفس المهني من الموضوعات العصرية في مجال علم النفس، والكتاب الذي نقدمه يشمل عدة أبواب وفصول تناسب هذا المنهج الجديد في هذه الدراسة، وقد أشرنا فيه إلى التوجه المهني والظروف الفيزيائية والأمراض والمشاكل المهنية، وتوقفنا عند الأمن الصناعي الذي أخذ يشكل عنصراً هاماً في الجانب الصناعي والمهني، ثم وقفنا عند الوسائل التكنولوجية الحديثة التي لا بد أنها تلعب دوراً بارزاً في رفع كفاءة أي عمل مهني.
