"تفسير الأحلام بين الدين والعلم" كتاب يسلّط المؤلف فيه الضوء على موضوع الأحلام، وذلك من خلال منظار ديني دون إغفال رأي العلم المعاصر في هذا المجال وهدفه من ذلك بيان حقيقة الرؤيا، وحقيقة الأحلام وأنواعها، مثل: حديث النفس الذي يطلق عليه أحياناً أضغاث أحلام، والحلم الذي ينسب للشيطان، والذي يطلق عليه أحياناً لتخزين الشيطان.
وقد حاول المؤلف إظهار أهمية الأحلام، مهما كان نوعها سواءً كانت رؤيا أو تخزيناً من الشيطان أو أضفات أحلام، كما تطرق إلى آخر المنجزات المادية العلمية الصرفة، التي تجري في أمريكا وأوروبا حول موضوع الأحلام وميكانيكيتها، وما توصلت إليه في هذا الشأن، كما كان حريصاً على تزويد الكتاب بأحدث الصورة والخطوط البيانية المتعلقة بهذا الموضوع الدقيق ومركزاً على القصص التي ذكرت عن الأنبياء والرسل عليهم السلام حول موضوع الرؤيا، مبيناً بعض الأحكام الشرعية التي تترتب على الرؤيا بالنسبة للنبي وللإنسان العادي. مفرداً قسماً من الكتاب للتحدث عن رؤى الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم، وتفسيره لها. ومخصصاً فصولاً كاملة، تتحدث فيها عن أهمية الأحلام بالنسبة للصحة الجسدية والنفسية، وكيفية استخدام الأحلام الإيحائية في العلاج، وإمكانية التحكم بالأحلام عن طريق الإيحاء، أو التراسل الفكري، أو السحر، أو الشعوذة.
بالإضافة إلى ذلك فقد تطرق المؤلف، في بعض من هذه الفصول، لشرح الوظائف الدماغية بما يتعلق بموضوع النوم والأحلام، حسب ما وصلت إليه آخر الأبحاث العلمية والطبية في هذا المضمار، مبيناً بأن العلم الحديث يقف عاجزاً تماماً أمام آية الرؤيا المناقبة، التي يخلقها الله عند النوم، وأن كل ما وصل إليه العلم، هو أمر بيولوجي صرف، لا يفسر موضوع الرؤيا والأحلام بطريقة مقنعة جازفة ولم يغفل المؤلف عن تضمين كتابه ما يشفي غليل القارئ لمعرفة الطرق التي تساعده على تفسير أحلامه، حيث ذكر تلك الطرق، وكذلك منهجيات السلف الصالح في هذا المضمار وأرفق ذلك ببحث لطيف يتعلق بآداب التفسير وخصائص المفسر، وكيفية تمييز نوع الأحلام.
