تهدف التربية في جملة أهدافها إلى تكوين أو تطوير الناحية الجمالية في المتعلم بحيث يصبح ذواقاً للجمال حيثما رآه، يحسه ويستجيب إليه، وأن ينعكس هذا الشعور على سلوكه وحياته، فيطبعها بطابع التناسق والإنسجام وتربية التذوق الفني لدى التلاميذ الذي يعد من الأهداف المهمة للتربية.
والرسم إحدى وسائل تربية التذوق الفني عند تلاميذنا، إلى جانب ما يحققه من أغراض أخرى كتنمية قدرات شتى، كالتصور والتخيل المبدع، وتقوية روح الملاحظة والدقة في إستثمار المدركات الحسية، والقدرة على إصدار الأحكام الصحيحة.
والرسم وسيلة التعبير عما في النفس بصدق وحرية، وهو يهدف أيضاً كذلك إلى تعويد التلاميذ النظام والنظافة وحسن التنسيق ويحتل الرسم مجالاً واسعاً في حياة التلاميذ بإعتباره الطريق الحميم الذي عن طريقه يتصل الطفل بمجتمعه كونه وسيلة مهمة وراسخة في النفس البشرية للتعبير عن الذات والإتصال بالآخرين عن طريق التعبير الفني الجمالي.
وبناءً على ذلك، يجب إيلاء تدريس الرسم إلى جانب الفنون الأخرى في المدارس إهتماماً بالغاً يناهز الإهتمام بتدريس مفردات مناهج العلوم الأخرى، لأن النمو السليم للفرد يتم بالتوافق بين النمو الجسمي والعقلي، ولتحقيق هذا التوازن لا بد من التعاون بين مختلف حقول المعرفة والفن.
من هنا، يهدف هذا البحث التعرف على أسس التعبير الفني والخبرة الفنية لتدريس الرسم في المدارس الإبتدائية في محافظة التأميم.
