سعد أحمد شعبان (1 نوفمبر 1928 و توفي في 11 فبراير 2017 ) مهندس كهربائي مصري وطيار مدني وحربي. أحد رواد الصحافة العلمية وتبسيط العلوم. مدير مكتب رئيس الجمهورية 1981-1988.
نشأته
ولد في 1 نوفمبر 1928 بمحافظة الإسكندرية. متزوج وله ابنان. حصل على بكالوريوس هندسة كهربية من جامعة الإسكندرية 1951، إجازة طياري الخطوط الجوية بمرتبة الشرف 1958، ماجستير الملاحة الجوية من الاتحاد السوفييتي بامتياز مع مرتبة الشرف 1960.
أعماله
شغل وظيفة ضابط مهندسي أركان حرب بالقوات الجوية حتى رتبة لواء 1974، مدير مكتب نائب رئيس الجمهورية 1976-1988. عضو أكاديمية البحث العلمي والتكنولوجيا ، عضو اتحاد الطيارين الدولي بباريس، عضو اللجنة الفنية لشئون الفضاء الخارجي بوزارة البحث العلمي. محكم لنشر الثقافة العلمية بمنظمة اليونسكو بباريس.
رئيس تحرير مجلة الكلية الجوية ببلبيس ، رئيس تحرير سلسلة العلم والحياة بالهيئة العامة للكتاب، رئيس لجنة الثقافة الجوية والفضاء بنادي الطيران المصري، رئيس تحرير مجلة المهندسين بالقاهرة 1975-1988، المستشار العلمي لبرنامج عالم الفضاء والطيران بالإذاعة والتلفزيون.
