·ولد في بلدة قرنايل في لبنان عام 1944م.
·درس الشريعة الإسلامية ونال الشهادة الجامعية فيها عام 1972م.
·حصل على شهادة الماجستير عام 1982م من جامعة الإمام محمد بن سعود الإسلامية في الرياض ، ثم حصل على الدكتوراه.
oعمل في مجال التدريس ، فدرّس اللغة الإنجليزية ،ودرَّس اللغة العربية لغير الناطقين بها و عمل في كلية التربية بجامعة الملك سعود.

إن الناظر في ساحة العمل الإسلامي اليوم، يجد فيها من الانقسامات والخصومات ما يدمي القلوب، ويكدر صفو المخلصين الراجين لهذا الدين العزة والنصر، ولأمته الغلبة والتمكين. ولهذه الخصومات والانقسامات في صفوف العاملين للإسلام اليوم أسباب عديدة؛ منها: غياب التصور الصحيح عن فقه الدعوة إلى الله عند الكثيرين منهم. ومنها: البعد شيئًا فشيئًا عن منبع التلقي الصافي؛ سواء كان كلامًا لله تعالى أوحى به إلى عبد من عباده المرسلين أم سيرًا لأنبيائه تقتفى إلى يوم الدين؛ ومنها: إن الحديث عن أنبياء الله ودراسة سيرهم العطرة والتأمل فيها أمر مهم ومفيد من جوانب كثيرة؛ مهم ومفيد لأن الإيمان بهم هو إحدى دعامات الإيمان التي بينها القرآن المجيد والنبي الكريم؛ ولأنهم شموس الإنسانية ومصابيح دجاها والتأسي بهم هو سبيل المؤمنين إلى طاعة الرحمن والفوز بالرضوان.
كل ذلك وغيره مما حدا بالكاتب إلى دراسة دعوة الأنبياء وفهم ماهية دعوتهم، والطريقة التي اتبعوها مع أقوامهم– في هذا الكتاب الذي بين أيديكم.
