سلافوي جيجك (Slavoj Zizek) من مواليد 21 مارس 1949 هو فيلسوف وناقد ثقافي سلوفيني، قدم مساهمات في النظرية السياسية، ونظرية التحليل النفسي والسينما النظرية. هو أحد كبار الباحثين في معهد علم الاجتماع بجامعة لوبليانا. يلقي محاضرات في كثير من الأحيان في مدرسة Logos في سلوفينيا، وهو أستاذ في كلية الدراسات العليا الأوروبية. "يوصف أنه أخطر فيلسوف سياسي في الغرب".
عمل أستاذا زائرا في جامعة شيكاغو، وجامعة كولومبيا، جامعة برينستون، جامعة نيويورك، وجامعة مينيسوتا، وجامعة كاليفورنيا، وجامعة ميشيغان وغيرها من الجامعات. ويشغل حاليا منصب المدير الدولي لمعهد بيركبك للعلوم الإنسانية في بيركبك بجامعة لندن ورئيس لجمعية التحليل النفسي النظرية، في ليوبليانا.
