لعل من أهم ما طرحه المؤلف على بساط البحث في دراسته عن الغذامي مسألة النسق المضمر الذي تبدى في معالجته لتأثير النسق الحافظ في كتابه (الموقف من الحداثة)، وكان ذلك مما لفت الإنتباه إلى الإنسجام والتكامل في فكر الغذامي النقدي فضلاً عن التنامي والتطور.
لقد عمل المؤلف على إبراز دور الغذامي في جلاء كثير من المعالم الإبداعية في هذا الفكر وأماط اللثام عما خفي من أسرار إهتماماته بالثقافة المهمشة، إن الدراسات الثقافية التي نهض بها بعض النقاد العرب ممن اعتبروا نقاداً ثقافيين لا يمكن إعتبارها سبقاً في هذا المجال، فلم يعن أحد منهم ببلورة النظرية وتعريب مصطلحاتها وجعلها مطواعة للتطبيق وفق إجراءات منضبطة في سياق متصل قبل الغذامي كما أوضح المؤلف، وكان دقيقاً في رصد الفروقات بين ما يمكن إعتباره نقداً ثقافياً وما كان خارجاً عن هذا النطاق.
