وبالإضافة إلى هذا كله، سوف يجد القارئ أن الأستاذ الشيراوي قد أشار إلى القضايا الكبيرة في حياة الشاعر: مولده ونسبه، وهل هو شريف علوي أم لا، وزواجه ونسله، هو يفعل هذا بلطف وتواضع جم مردداً طول الوقت أن الكتاب ليس أكثر من "أطلس". إنما هو، في الواقع إضافة حقيقية تسعد عشاق شعر المتنبي وتغري الآخرين بالدخول في العالم الزاخر بالحب لهذا الشاعر العظيم.
