وقد وجدت انه من المناسب تقسيم هذا الكتاب إلى سبعة فصول رئيسية يتناول كل منها موضوعاً قائماً بذاته وهي: "الباحث الائتماني، مفهوم الائتمان المصرفي، السياسة الائتمانية المصرفية، القرار الائتماني، نظم المعلومات الائتمانية، تحليل البيانات المالية ائتمانياً، متابعة المتابعة المصرفي".
