يؤمن الجميعُ بأن الله تعالى أتمَّ دينه على أكمل وجهٍ أحسَنه "اليوم أكملتُ لكم دينكم"، ونؤمن جميعاً بأنَّ تعالى جعل القرآن الكريم مستوعباً أصول كل شيء في الحياة "ما فرَّطنا في هذا الكتاب من شيء".
ونؤمن جميعاً بأن الدين محفوظٌ بكل أنواع الحفظ "إنا نحن نزَّلْنا الذكرَ وإنَّا له لحافظون" ونؤمنُ بأنَّ الإستئناف بالزيادة جريمةٌ إحداث في الدين ما ليس منه "من أحدثَ في أمرنا هذا ما ليس منه فهو ردٌّ"، ولا تستريبُ أبداً في شيء من ذلك، لأننا موقنون إيقاناً تاماً بأن ذلك هو أصل الكمال في الشريعة التي شملت كل الشرائع، واستوعبت كل محاسن الأديان.
"ثقافة التحريم" ظاهرةٌ ليست غائبةً عن أي مجتمع يعيشُ، فهي أظهر من شمسٍ في رائعة نهار، وأبْيَنُ من علَمٍ فوقَ رأسه نار، لما لها من وجود في كل ما يُتوصَّل من خلاله إلى الناس، هذه الثقافة التي أتتْ لتقطعَ أصل النعمة الكبرى للإنسان، وهي نعمة إباحة وتسخير كل ما في الوجود لسعادته ولبقائه حياً مُنعَّماً، من البُدِّ أن تكون هذه الظاهرة في محكِّ النظر، وفي ميزان العلم، لُتقامَ على ميزان العمل، هل يُهم لبها أم لا؟ فتُقبَل أو تُرفَض، وهي إلى الرفضِ أقرب، لأنها خِلْو من كل ما يستوجبُ قبولَها، على موازين العلم.
هذا الكتاب جولةٌ في قضايا طالَها قولُ التحريم بدون برهان اليقين، مُناقشٌ بأدب العلم، مُحاورٌ بسَمْتٍ الحوار، بهدوءٍ الثّقة، وسَكينة العقل، مُرادُ مؤلِّفه صيانة الشريعة ليس إلاّ، فليس المهم ما كُتِبَ إنما ما فُهِمَ.
