يحوي هذا الكتاب مجموعة مقالات نُشرت في جريدة "الإتحاد"، يجمعها موضوع واحد هو محاولة تنظيم الإخوان المسلمين قلب نظام الحكم في الإمارات، وذلك بعد إدخال تعديلات أو إضافات طفيفة عليها لتكون مناسبة كمادة لكتاب.
لقد دفعني إلى نشر هذا الكتاب أهمية ذلك الحدث، وتسليط الضوء على المشهد الإماراتي والظروف التي مرت بها الدولة خلال السنوات الخمس الماضية، وما تشهده الدولة والمنطقة حتى كتابة هذه الأسطر.
إذ بكل هدوء وموضوعية نحن بحاجة إلى الحديث عما جرى لفهم المشهد الحالي ورؤية الصورة كاملة، فمن أخطر التحديات التي مرّت على الإمارات وأكثرها حساسية هي قضية التنظيم السري للإخوان المسلمين، وتخطيطهم لتغيير نظام الحكم فيها من خلال ولاءاتهم الخارجية لتنظيم دولي كان يعمل في الخفاء بهدف السيطرة على الدول التي هم فيها، وإحدى هذه الدول الإمارات.
وفي رأيي أنّ هذا الخطر لم يكن يقلّ عن عملهم على شق الصف الوطني وزعزعة التلاحم الوطني لأول مرة في تاريخ الإمارات.
في هذا الكتاب توضيح للصورة وكشف للإرتباطات الخارجية لهذه المجموعة، وللأهداف الحقيقية لتنظيم الإخوان المسلمين وفشله وتناقض تصرّفاته مع الشعارات التي رفعها وأوصلته إلى الحكم في بعض الدول.
نأمل أن يكون هذا الكتاب وثيقة تاريخية يستفيد منها مَنْ لم يعِش هذه الفترة.
