إن القرآن الكريم دقيق في اختيار ألفاظه، وانتقاء كلماته، فإذا اختار اللفظ معرفة كان ذلك لسبب، وإن انتقاه نكرة كان ذلك لغرض، كذلك إذا كان اللفظ مفرداً كان ذلك لمقتضى يطلبه، وإذا كان مجموعاً كان لحال يناسبه، وقد يختار الكلمة ويهمل مرادفها، وقد يفضل كلمة على أخرى، والكلمتان - ظاهراً - بمعنى واحد، وربما يتخطى في التعبير المحسن البديعي - على قدره وحسنه- لغرض أسمى - وهو الحسن المعنوي - كل ذلك لغرض يرمي إليه في التعبير - وهكذا دائماً لكل مقام مقال في التعبير القرآني.
