تستمد مقاربة النقد الروائي في المغرب العربي، وما يطرحه من إشكاليات تمسَ مفاهيمه النظرية، وقضايا النوع الروائي، أهميتها من أنها تعكس سيرورة المشهد الثقافي والإبداعي المغاربي في شتى تشكلاته الأجناسية وتنوعاته الفكرية والجمالية منذ مطلع الستينات وإلى اليوم؟
وفي هذا المجال يقدم الدكتور "بوشوشة بن جمعة" دراسة تتناول مسألة النقد الروائي في المغرب العربي، بغية تدوين تاريخه، باستقراء خلفيات تشكلَه، وتقصَي مساراته وتحولاته، والبحث في مرجعياته، ومساءلة منتجه على صعيد الأداء المصطلحي المعرفي والترجمي، وتدقيق يعض أدواته قصد إستشراف أفقه أو الأحرى الأفاق التي يتطلَع إليها نقاد الرواية في المغرب العربي.
قسمت الدراسة إلى ستة فصول تناول الأول منها حركة النقد الأدبي الحديث في المغرب العربي بينما يتناول الثاني: سؤال النشأة وخلفيات التشكل، ورصد الثالث سؤال المرجع/ عربي/ أوربي. قبل أن يثير في الفصل الرابع: إشكالية مفاهيم النقد الروائي المغاربي: الأساسية منها والفرعية. أما الفصل الخامس فخصص لدراسة قضايا الجنس الروائي في النقد المغاربي المعاصر، وما تثيره من إشكاليات مفهومية وأجناسية تتجلَى في كتابات نقَاد الرواية، في حين طرح الفصل السادس والأخير أسئلة راهن النقد الروائي المغاربي وآفاقه.
