Book Description
البحر كان وحيداً.
لم تكن بلاد ولا شواطئ، ولا بيوت، لا بشر ولا قوارب، وحده البحر يسكن الدنيا وتؤلمه وحدته، يسافر طوال الليل والنهار، يبحث في كل مكان ولحظة منهما عن شاطئ يحضنه، شجرة يرتاح في ظلها، جبل يتسلقه، أحصنة تسافر معه، يبحث عن قصة حب أو ألم، عن إنسان يبادله احساساً أو حكاية، ويترك في كل الأماكن واللحظات التي يمر بها شيئاً منه، ربما يكون أغنية، رسالة، دفقة ملح، أو أي شيء سيكون معروفاً بعد سنوات طويلة أنه يخص البحر الذي كان يتأكد من أن ما سيتركه سيظل موجوداً، ربما يتلقى رداً في أي وقت من أي أحد، لذا وفيما بعد سيكون البحر موجوداً بشكل ما طوال الوقت في كل أماكن الحياة.
كان البحر يتخيل شواطئ وأشجاراً يسمع من بعيد أصوات غناء وطبول فيسرع إليها، وعندما يصل لا يجد أي شيء، فيحصل على نوبات من الغضب والجنون يصل بها للسحاب، يتعارك معه ويخطف الشمس ليقتلها في حضنه، حتى صارت نوبات الغضب والجنوب عادة يمارسها البحر من وقت لآخر.
