ينبه الشيخ مجيد الصائغ في كتابه هذا إلى خطورة وسلبيات الزواج المثلي في المجتمعات الإسلامية. فمن المعروف أن الزواج هو رباط مقدس في جميع الديانات السماوية، فهو تحقيق لدستور سماوي ومبدأ إجتماعي يتم من خلاله بناء الآسرة والتربية الصالحة للأبناء. وفي كتابه هذا يسلط المؤلف الآضواء على ظاهرة الزواج المثلي التي ظهرت في الآونة الأخيرة وما تمثله من شذوذ للجنس البشري وهو (اللواط والسحاق) والذي ما دأبت مدنية القرن الواحد والعشرين تروج له وتمنحه الشرعية القانونية في عصر بلغ فيه الإنسان ذروة العلم والمعرفة. وقد تحولت هذه الظاهرة الشاذة في المجتمع الأوروبي إلى فيروس خطير ينخر بقواعد المجتمع وأصوله وتحطم خلاياه بدءاً من المحبة بين الرجل والمرأة وإنتهاءاً بالترابط الوثيق بين أفراد الأسرة. فالأمر الغير مقبول هو أن تزحف هذه الظاهرة إلى المجتمعات الإسلامية وخوفاً إلى أبناءنا من الضلال دأب مؤلف هذا الكتاب إلى وضع هذه الدراسة وهي تمثل عرضاً موضوعياً شاملاً لسلبيات ما يسمى بالزواج المثلي لغة وإصطلاحاً، ثم بين الأضرار التربوية والجسدية والإجتماعية له، وتساءل هل للزواج المثلي مشروعية؟ وما هي الشعوذة وما هي المحرمات في الإسلام؟ وأخيراً أكد على ضرورة التربية الجنسية حتى لا يستقي أبناءنا معلوماتهم بطريقة خاطئة ومن مصادر مشتبه بها، ووضع في أي سن تكون التربية الجنسية؟ ومن يقوم بأعبائها وما عناصرها؟ وضرورة أن يعطي الآباء لأبنائهم أجوبة ومعلومات صحيحة وخصوصاً في سن الطفولة والشباب حتى تجنبهم آثار مثل تلك الظواهر الشاذة والمتمثلة بالزواج المثلي.
