اللغة التركية من مجموعة اللغات الالتصاقية؛ شأنها شأن سائر اللغات.. نمت.. وتطورت.. وسارت في موكب الحضارة.. وعبرت عن مشاركة الترك عامة في صياغة الحضارة الإسلامية.. فكان لها مالها.. وعليها ما عليها. ثم كان الحديث عن الأدب, وقبل الخوض في هذا المضمار، تناول الكتاب بإطلاله على تاريخ الأدب التركي، وتقسيماته، وفقًا لتقسيمات المجتمع، فللعوام نتاجهم.. وللخواص معطياتهم.. تنقل الكتاب من المنتديات الشعبية، والطرق الصوفية إلى مدارس الديوان وبلاطه.. حيث ناقش الكتاب أهم خصائص الأدب الديوانى (1300– 1839م) وأدب فترة فترة التنظيمات (1383– 1895م) ومدرسة ثروت فنون (1896– 1908م) والأدب القومي (1908– 1940م)، هذا وكما اختتم الكتاب الحديث عن هموم وقضايا الأدب المعاصر الممتد من سنة 1940م إلى الوقت الراهن تقريبًا.. يمكن أن يكون ذلك بمثابة الدراسة النظرية.. ثم أعقب الكتاب بدراسة تطبيقية كذلك.
أما الدراسة التطبيقية للأدب الحديث والمعاصر.. فكانت وحدة الحضارة الإسلامية عند يح كمال بياتلي، وتجلياتها في ديوانه "قبتنا السماوية".. ثم كان الحلم بالمدينة الحديثة في "قيزبل ألما" عند ضياكوك آلب.. وكيف كانت هذه القضية هي التي استلهمتها، أو لنقل ترجمتها النخبة المناضلة– بعد حرب الاستقلال التركية– إلى برنامج سياسي للجمهورية التركية التي أعلنت سنة 1923م وتحول الحلم إلى واقع سياسي.. وتحققت استلهامات الشاعر، وأصبحت الجمهورية قائمة على الحكم الشعبي الديموقراطي، جناحاها الفكر والفلسفة.. للتجارة والصناعة.. والدين.. والفن مكانه.. كل "حسب جهده وطاقته".
