Book Description
يتناول هذا الكتاب، موضوعاً مهماً في تاريخ مصر الحديث، فالثورة الوطنية (1881/1882) المشهورة بالثورة العرابية لها موقعها اللافت للنظر على خريطة الثورات المصرية، حيث قامت لمواجهة الظروف التي مر بها المجتمع، من تسلط الأوتقراطية والانحراف والظلم واستغلال الأقلية المحدودة للأكثرية الساحقة، والتدخل الأجنبي الذي احتكر الاقتصاد وأساء إلى القيم وتغلغل في السياسة، فكان لابد من دفع هذا الجور الذي لا حدود لسلطانة. ومن هنا فرضت الثورة على مصر، لتكون حركة وطنية شاملة، تسعى إلى تغيير جوهري في كيان المجتمع. إذن فالثورة عميقة وشاملة وعامة، لا تحفل بالأشياء السطحية، وإنما ركزت جهودها على أساسيات المجتمع ودعائمه. وقد اشتركت قوى مصر الاجتماعية في الثورة، ومن خلال ذلك كان الحكم على العمل الثوري الذي حرص على خلق حياة تسودها العدالة التي لا تتحقق إلا بتحول جذري، يتضمن الشكل السياسي والبناء الاقتصادي والوضع الاجتماعي.
