تعمل في صحيفة "أوان" الكويتية، ولها زاوية بعنوان "ضوء" في مجلّة بنت الخليج الإماراتية.
بكالوريوس تربية، تخصص تعليم ما قبل المرحلة الابتدائية من جامعة الملك سعود – كلية التربية عام 1421 هـ / 1422 هـ الموافق 2000 / 2001 م.
حاصلة على الماجستير في الصحافة والإعلام، من مملكة البحرين.
تولّت سابقاً رئاسة قسم المجتمع في صحيفة الوطن السعودية وكانت أول امرأة ترأس قسم يومي في صحيفة سعودية خارج الأقسام النسائية.
تبنّت قضايا السجينات في السعودية ونشرت عشرات التحقيقات والتقارير حولها، كما تبنّت الكثير من القضايا حول العنف والتمييز ضدّ المرأة في المجتمع السعودي.
