يعتبر ذوو الإحتياجات الخاصة، فئة هامة مؤثرة في مجتمعنا ووطنا، ذلك أن هذه الفئة على الرغم مما امتحنهم الله تعالى من بلاء، فإنهم صابرون، وجادون ومجتهدون، بل أن بعضهم موهوب بالفطرة، والبعض الآخر، مخترع أو أديب أو مثقف أو شاعر أو فنان يجيد رسم اللوحات التعبيرية.

ولذلك اهتم هذا الكتاب بتكييف المناهج وطرق وأساليب تدريس الطلاب والأطفال ذوي القدرات الخاصة، فجاء هذا الكتاب في سبعة فصول.
