يأتي هذا الكتاب إسهاماً في إستجلاء معاني ألفاظ القرآن الكريم التي شاب العديد منها ما شابه من جراء عدم الإستعمال الصحيح والمناسب لهذه الألفاظ، وتحقيقاً لأهمية الإشتغال بالقرآن الكريم، والإعتناء بمفاهيمه، وضبط دلالة ألفاظه، فإن فصول هذا البحث وفقراته تتمحور حول الكشف عن مفهوم "الأمانة" في القرآن الكريم والحديث الشريف، إعتماداً على أدوات وآليات منهجية مستمدة من "منهج الدراسة المصطلحية" الذي تشرف بأن يكون الأحداث في التصدي للبحث في مفاهيم الإصطلاحات و"المركبات القرآنية" التي تختزن بحوراً من العلم وأنهاراً من الدلالات التي لا نهاية لها.
وعلى ذلك، اقتضى تقسيم البحث إلى أربعة فصول في ثناياها مباحث تفصيلية، الفصل الأول: خصص للحديث عن دلالة المصطلح في القرآن الكريم والحديث، تمخض عنه وضع تعريف المصطلح المدروس، الفصل الثاني: موضوعه علاقات الأمانة بأسرتها المفهومية، الفصل الثالث: درس إمتدادات المصطلح على مستوى فروعه، وقسم إلى مبحثين: أولهما: عن ضمائم الأمانة، وثانيهما: عن مشتقاتها، الفصل الرابع: تناول بالدرس والتحليل إمتدادات لفظ الأمانة على مستوى القضايا التي أثارتها سياقاته، وقد استقر الرأي على ثلاث كبرى، شكلت الحديث المضمن في ثلاثة مباحث، أولها: عن الدين، وثانيها: عن الخيانة، وثالثها: عن التقوى.
ثم خلص الكلام في آخر البحث إلى خاتمة جمعت أهم ما ورد بهذه الفصول الأربعة، وأهم ما يستوقف الدارس في تصديه للفظ القرآني الحمال للكثير من الدلالات.
