يدرس هذا الكتاب استراتيجيات التدريس في الفيزياء لتنمية عمليات العلم، عبر البدء ببيان مشكلة الدراسة وعناصرها وأسئلتها، وكذلك خلال توضيح فرضياتها وأهميتها ومحدداتها وتعريفاتها.
لنعرض بعد ذلك الإطار النظري والدراسات ذات الصلة، حيث توقف عند البنائية ودورها في تدريس العلوم، وكذلك دورة التعلم وأهميتها أيضاً في تدريس العلوم، ليتم الطرق بعد ذلك إلى دورة التعلم (Es-Strategy5) وإلى خريطة الشكل، مع تقديم عرض للمفاهيم العلمية ولأهميتها في تدريس العلوم، وتوضيح لأهمية عمليات العلم وتصنيفها، وكذلك التوقف عند منحى الفروع والمتداخلة والدراسات السابقة التي تناولت كل ما ذكره.
كما ونتحدث بعد ذلك كله عن الطريقة والإجراءات المتبعة في موضوع هذا البحث، من خلال التطرق إلى أفراد الدراسة وأدواتها وإجراءاتها والتصميم والمعالجة الإحصائية فيها.
وفي نهاية الكتاب تمَ عرض نتائج الدراسة، وقدَمت خلاصة لها، بالإضافة إلى مناقشتها وتفسيرها وتقديم توصيات حولها ودراسات مقترحة لها. ولإكمال الفائدة فقد أضيف ملحقان إلى الكتاب، تناول الأول تنظيم موضوعي المتجهات والإتزان الميكانيكي وفق منحى الفروع المتداخلة، وأما الثاني فقد جاء دليلاً للمعلم في تدريس المحتوى الدراسي المنظم وفق منحى الفروع المتداخلة في موضوعي المتجات والإتزان الميكانيكي وفقاً لطريقتي دورة التعلم وأشكال V.
