طبعة أولى 1995 وطبعة ثانية 2004 المشي أطول وقت مُمكن، دار شرقيّات، القاهرة 1997 جغرافيا بديلة، دار شرقيّات، القاهرة.
طبعة أولى 2006 وطبعة ثانية 2011 حتّى أتخلّى عن فكرة البيوت، دار شرقيّات ودار التنوير، القاهرة – بيروت 2013 ولدت إيمان مرسال في المنصورة، مصر في 30 نوفمبر 1966 وشاركت في إصدار مجلة "بنت الأرض" المستقلة من 1986 إلى 1992.
انتقلت إلى القاهرة في 1988 و نُشرت قصائدها في مجلات هامشية كانت نافذة للكتابة الجديدة في مصر مثل "الجراد" و"الكتابة الأخرى" ويعدّ كتابها "ممرّ معتم يصلح في تعلّم الرقص" واحداً من أهم الكتب الشعرية الصادرة عن جيل التسعينيات في الشعر العربي تركت مرسال مصر إلى مدينة بوسطن الأمريكية في 1998 بعد سنوات من العمل كمحررة في مجلة "أدب ونقد" القاهرية وبعد حصولها على الماجستير في الأدب العربي بعنوان "التناص الصوفي في شعر أدونيس"، ومن بوسطن إلى كندا حيث تعمل أستاذ مساعد للأدب العربي ودراسات الشرق الأوسط في جامعة ألبيرتا.
مرسال مقيمة الآن في برلين كأستاذة متفرّغة للعام 2012- 2013 لإنهاء كتابها عن "أمريكا في كتابة الرحلة العربية" وهو تطوير لرسالتها للدكتوراة التي حصلت عليها في 2009.
تُرجمت مختارات من عمل مرسال إلى أكثر من 22 لغة آخرها مختارات إلى اللغة الهندية قام بها الشاعر جيت شاتورفيدي في نوفمبر 2012 كما صدر "المشي أطول وقت ممكن" بالأسبانية عن دار نشر هيوجرا وفيرو، ترجمة لورا سالجورو ومارجريتا أوزاريو منندز في يناير 2013 ----------------
