نگرشهای فمینیستی و پژوهش فمینیستی هر چند اکنون از سوی جامعهشناسی مردمحورِ رایج بهرسمیت شناخته میشود اما هنوز در حاشیه مانده است. این کتاب نشان میدهد که این مقولات در آموزش و پژوهش جامعهشناختی نقشی محوری دارند. نظریههای مردمحورانه و یافتههای پژوهشیِ آنها، در بهترین حالت خود، ناقصاند زیرا نمیتوانند دیدگاه زنان را بهدرستی مورد توجه قرار دهند. جامعهشناسی را باید ا نگرشهای فمینیستی و پژوهش فمینیستی هر چند اکنون از سوی جامعهشناسی مردمحورِ رایج بهرسمیت شناخته میشود اما هنوز در حاشیه مانده است. این کتاب نشان میدهد که این مقولات در آموزش و پژوهش جامعهشناختی نقشی محوری دارند. نظریههای مردمحورانه و یافتههای پژوهشیِ آنها، در بهترین حالت خود، ناقصاند زیرا نمیتوانند دیدگاه زنان را بهدرستی مورد توجه قرار دهند. جامعهشناسی را باید از اساس بازسازی کرد تا بتواند دانشی را که فمینیستها تولید کردهاند در دل خود جای دهد.
