"أنني في ذات ليلة أوائل سبتمبر عام 1872 رأيت في المنام شيخًا جليلاً بزي جندي .. وقال: أنا مينا شهيد الله وأنني أطلب منك أن تفتش عن جسدي وتكتشفه وهو ليس خارجًا عن الكنيسة. فقمت باكرًا جدًا.. فرفعت بلاط المحل الذي كان بجوار قبة الهيكل من الجهة البحرية ... فوجدنا أنبوبة كبيرة وفيها جسد الشهيد ومكتوب عليها اسمه، ومعها أربعة أنابيب أخرى باسماء شهداء آخرين .. ومغطاة بستر حرير وم "أنني في ذات ليلة أوائل سبتمبر عام 1872 رأيت في المنام شيخًا جليلاً بزي جندي .. وقال: أنا مينا شهيد الله وأنني أطلب منك أن تفتش عن جسدي وتكتشفه وهو ليس خارجًا عن الكنيسة. فقمت باكرًا جدًا.. فرفعت بلاط المحل الذي كان بجوار قبة الهيكل من الجهة البحرية ... فوجدنا أنبوبة كبيرة وفيها جسد الشهيد ومكتوب عليها اسمه، ومعها أربعة أنابيب أخرى باسماء شهداء آخرين .. ومغطاة بستر حرير ومعها كتاب ميامره وعجائبه .. وأنزلنا الأجساد المذكورة باحتفال عظيم، ووضعناها أمام أيقونة الشهيد العظيم مارمينا ولا زالت موجودة للآن".
