تحوَّلت الأزهار بالنِّسبة لفيكتوريا جونز إلى رسول حقيقي يحمل رسائل هواجسها عن الشَّك والوحدة والخوف والمجتمع المحيط بها، ومن ثمَّ شق طريق النَّجاح والصُّعود على الرَّغم من كلِّ الظُّروف العصيبة الَّتي مرَّت بها أو عصفت بحياتها المتمرِّدة.
بعد قضاء طفولة خاضعة لمعايير نظام الرِّعاية والحضانة، كانت عاجزة عن بناء حالة تواصل فعليَّة مع أحد، أكانت تلك الحالة تواصلاً بصرياً أم لف تحوَّلت الأزهار بالنِّسبة لفيكتوريا جونز إلى رسول حقيقي يحمل رسائل هواجسها عن الشَّك والوحدة والخوف والمجتمع المحيط بها، ومن ثمَّ شق طريق النَّجاح والصُّعود على الرَّغم من كلِّ الظُّروف العصيبة الَّتي مرَّت بها أو عصفت بحياتها المتمرِّدة.
بعد قضاء طفولة خاضعة لمعايير نظام الرِّعاية والحضانة، كانت عاجزة عن بناء حالة تواصل فعليَّة مع أحد، أكانت تلك الحالة تواصلاً بصرياً أم لفظياً، فأجوبتها دائماً مبتورة، ووجها المطأطئ أبداً مغطّى بخصلات شعرها. كان أسلوبها الوحيد للتَّواصل مع العالم أو للتَّعبير عن مشاعرها وأفكارها يمرُّ من خلال الزُّهور ومعانيها.
حين تبلغ الثامنة عشرة من عمرها يتم إخراجها من نظام الكفالة لبلوغها السِّن القانونية، دون وجهة تقصدها. تدرك فيكتوريا أنَّ الله حباها بهبة فريدة فتستغلُّها لمساعدة نفسها ومساعدة الآخرين في التَّعبير عن عواطفهم عبر اختيارها للزُّهور المناسبة لحالاتهم، وذلك حين سنحت لها الفرصة المواتية للعمل في محل ريناتا لتنسيق الزُّهور. لكنَّ ظهور شخص غريب غامض في حياتها جعلها تراجع ما تفتقده ويعيد إلى الواجهة مجدَّداً تلك الحياة الَّتي حلمت بها يوماً وحرمت منها نتيجة خطأ طفولي كلَّفها الكثير.
عندما تجبرها الأيام على كشف سر موجع من غياهب ماضيها، تضعها في مواجهة مباشرة مع سؤال لطالما هربت منه، سؤال يتعلَّق بخياراتها المتاحة للقضاء على التَّأثير السَّلبي لظروفها الَّتي مرَّت بها، وإن كان الأمر يستحقُّ المخاطرة بكلِّ شيء في سبيل منح نفسها ومن حولها فرصة ثانية مع تجربة السَّعادة.
