عندما ولدتني أمّي، لم أختر اسمي. وعندما بعثوني إلى المدرسة، لم يخيّرني أحد أي لغة لأتعلمها، فرض المجتمع عليّ العربيّة، وتولّت المعلمات الإنكليزيّة. حين انطلق والدي ليضع اسمي في القيد (لاحظوا الإسم)، لم يسألني عن اسم العائلة، ولا عن الطائفة. وعندما طُلب منّي تأدية النشيد الوطني، لم أكن قبلها أعرف لأيّ وطنٍ أتبع، أصلاً لم يكن لي خيارُ الإنتماء أو التعلّق. الأنكى، أنني لم أخت عندما ولدتني أمّي، لم أختر اسمي. وعندما بعثوني إلى المدرسة، لم يخيّرني أحد أي لغة لأتعلمها، فرض المجتمع عليّ العربيّة، وتولّت المعلمات الإنكليزيّة. حين انطلق والدي ليضع اسمي في القيد (لاحظوا الإسم)، لم يسألني عن اسم العائلة، ولا عن الطائفة. وعندما طُلب منّي تأدية النشيد الوطني، لم أكن قبلها أعرف لأيّ وطنٍ أتبع، أصلاً لم يكن لي خيارُ الإنتماء أو التعلّق. الأنكى، أنني لم أختر لا لون بشرتي، ولا طولي، ولا لون عيناي، ولا حتّى جنسي.. هنا أعذر الجينات التي ساهمت في التفاصيل الأخيرة، أمّا ما سبق فهو أمرٌ لا ناقة لي فيه ولا جمل!|
هو إذاً محاولة شعريّة لقتل أقانيم المكان والزمان والإنسان (الجسد).. ويسأل أسئلة الـ من؟ ومتى؟ وأين؟! ليهرب منهم كلهم..
