من المعروف أن العالم يعيش مرحلة من التحولات المختلفة سواء كانت سياسية، أو اقتصادية، أو اجتماعية وثقافية، ولأسباب عدة منها انتهاء الصراع الأيديولوجي ثنائي القطبية والتحول إلى عالم أحادي القطبية، وبروز ظاهرة العولمة، ودخول التكنولوجيا بقوة في واقع حياة الفرد والتحولات الاقتصادية العالمية التي اجتاحت الحدود التقليدية للدول وتجاوزتها بحركة رأس المال والتكنولوجيا وحتى القرارات من المعروف أن العالم يعيش مرحلة من التحولات المختلفة سواء كانت سياسية، أو اقتصادية، أو اجتماعية وثقافية، ولأسباب عدة منها انتهاء الصراع الأيديولوجي ثنائي القطبية والتحول إلى عالم أحادي القطبية، وبروز ظاهرة العولمة، ودخول التكنولوجيا بقوة في واقع حياة الفرد والتحولات الاقتصادية العالمية التي اجتاحت الحدود التقليدية للدول وتجاوزتها بحركة رأس المال والتكنولوجيا وحتى القرارات السياسية. ومع مرور الوقت برزت شرق آسيا والهند بدولها منذ منتصف التسعينيات وإلى اليوم، كقوة اقتصادية عالمية تستأثر بحصة كبيرة من الإنتاج الصناعي العالمي، وتحقق معدلات نمو غير مسبوقة وبشكل متواصل، مقابل تراجعات كثيرة في اقتصاديات العديد من الدول الغربية التي قادت الإنتاج الصناعي العالمي منذ ما يقارب قرنين من الزمن.
