تتناول الكاتبة فيه إبداعات القاصات الإماراتيات من خلال قراءاتها خاصة لوجود عدد من القاصات اللواتي يتميزن بجودة ونوعية الكتابة رغم قصر التجربة والمعادل التاريخي القليل الذي خرّجت هذه الأصوات عبره لكي تطرق بأقلامها كثير من المواضيع.وينقسم الكتاب الى أربعة فصول يتناول الأول عدة محاور هي "الهروب من خاصية المرأة إلى عامية المشاكل" و"تجليات البحر، الأنثى والحلم الأسود" و"تفاصيل تتناول الكاتبة فيه إبداعات القاصات الإماراتيات من خلال قراءاتها خاصة لوجود عدد من القاصات اللواتي يتميزن بجودة ونوعية الكتابة رغم قصر التجربة والمعادل التاريخي القليل الذي خرّجت هذه الأصوات عبره لكي تطرق بأقلامها كثير من المواضيع.وينقسم الكتاب الى أربعة فصول يتناول الأول عدة محاور هي "الهروب من خاصية المرأة إلى عامية المشاكل" و"تجليات البحر، الأنثى والحلم الأسود" و"تفاصيل الحياة اليومية، بوح الماء، التعب على ضفاف الكتابة" و"الغربة في الوطن وحرية المشروط"، و"جرائم الشرف والتداعيات الوجدانية لكشف المغلف".ويرتكز الفصل الثاني على خمسة محاور هي "إزهاق الخطاب الذكوري"، و"بين شفاف الروح وعمق الانتقام"، و"بين إعادة صيغة التاريخ وتشوه الروح"، و"بين الإسدال والواقع"، و"فتح تابو.. علاقات المحرم".ويأتي الفصل الثالث من الكتاب تحت عنوان "قاصات يتأرجحن بين التجديد والنمطي" ويتناول عدة محاور هي "التوق إلى الحرية والانتهاء بالموت" و"بين الفراغ والموت" و"قاصات جديدات يجددن الخطاب النمطي القديم".وينقسم الفصل الرابع الى محورين هما "بين الرجل المخدوع والمرأة اللعوب الخائنة" و"بين التعلم والدعوة بالعودة إلى البيت"
