این کتاب برای گروه سنی «ج» (چهارم و پنجم دبستان) و «د» (دوره ی راهنمایی) و شامل 24 داستان کامل و مجزا، برگرفته از حکایت های شیرین و آموزنده ی «مثنوی مولوی» است.
کتاب با پیشگفتار «چند کلمه با بچه ها»، و توضیح مختصری درباره ی «شعر مثنوی» و «مولانا»، آغاز می شود و با «چند کلمه با بزرگ ها» پایان می یابد. نگارنده در فصل آخر، شیوه ی نگارش شان را توضیح داده اند و آورده اند که در ا این کتاب برای گروه سنی «ج» (چهارم و پنجم دبستان) و «د» (دوره ی راهنمایی) و شامل 24 داستان کامل و مجزا، برگرفته از حکایت های شیرین و آموزنده ی «مثنوی مولوی» است.

کتاب حاضر جلد چهارم از مجموعه قصه های خوب برای بچه های خوب می باشد که دارای 24 داستان از قصه های برگزیده مثنوی مولوی است. کتاب موجود به بیانی ساده به این داستان ها می پردازد.
داستان ها چنان ساده و شیرین نوشته شده اند، که هر چند بار هم که آن ها را خوانده و شنیده باشیم، باز هم از خواندن آن ها بسیار لذت می بریم و می آموزیم.
