Ebrahim Golestan (also spelt Ibrahim Golestan, Persian: ابراهیم گلستان , born 1922 in Shiraz, Iran) is an Iranian filmmaker and literary figure with a career spanning half a century. He has been living in Sussex, United Kingdom, since 1975.
He is the father of Iranian photojournalist Kaveh Golestan, and Lili Golestan,[1:] translator and owner and artistic director of the Golestan Gallery in Tehran, Ebrahim Golestan (also spelt Ibrahim Golestan, Persian: ابراهیم گلستان , born 1922 in Shiraz, Iran) is an Iranian filmmaker and literary figure with a career spanning half a century. He has been living in Sussex, United Kingdom, since 1975.
He is the father of Iranian photojournalist Kaveh Golestan, and Lili Golestan,[1:] translator and owner and artistic director of the Golestan Gallery in Tehran, Iran. His grandson, Mani Haghighi, is also a film director.

این داستان منحصراً زاییدهی خیال است. نه یک روایت از سرگذشت واقعی چند شخص واقعی، و از آن میان گویندهی داستان. خواننده آن را به صورت سرگذشت یک دوره از زندگانی یک جامعه بگیرد. این داستان نزدیک به چهل سال پیش در کتابی به نام مد و مه درآمد همراه با دو داستان دیگر. پهلوی هم بودن آن سه نه از سر تصادف بود، بلکه برای نمایاندن روحیهها و حرکت عمومی جامعهای در گیرودار تحول بود. جد این داستان منحصراً زاییدهی خیال است. نه یک روایت از سرگذشت واقعی چند شخص واقعی، و از آن میان گویندهی داستان. خواننده آن را به صورت سرگذشت یک دوره از زندگانی یک جامعه بگیرد. این داستان نزدیک به چهل سال پیش در کتابی به نام مد و مه درآمد همراه با دو داستان دیگر. پهلوی هم بودن آن سه نه از سر تصادف بود، بلکه برای نمایاندن روحیهها و حرکت عمومی جامعهای در گیرودار تحول بود. جدا کردن این یکی از آن جمع در این جا ناچار به ترکیب کلی و معنایی آن کتاب خلل میآورد اما کاری به ترکیب و قصد خود این داستان ندارد. این تنها ماندنش به اقتضای نشر بوده است در امروز
