بدأت الجامعات الغربية اعطاء أهمية كبيرة لمادة السياسة، وعلى مستويين: مستوى السياسة الداخلية، والذي انصب على دراسة الحياة السياسية فيها والتي تضمنت: النظام السياسي، ابتداءً من نظام الحزب الواحد والذي تم تطبيقه منذ اعلان الجمهورية في عام 1923، واستمر حتى عام 1945، إذ تم الانتقال وبصورة سلمية الى ظاهرة التعدد الحزبي، وقد ساعد هذا الانتقال تركيا، على التقرب من المجتمعات الغربي بدأت الجامعات الغربية اعطاء أهمية كبيرة لمادة السياسة، وعلى مستويين: مستوى السياسة الداخلية، والذي انصب على دراسة الحياة السياسية فيها والتي تضمنت: النظام السياسي، ابتداءً من نظام الحزب الواحد والذي تم تطبيقه منذ اعلان الجمهورية في عام 1923، واستمر حتى عام 1945، إذ تم الانتقال وبصورة سلمية الى ظاهرة التعدد الحزبي، وقد ساعد هذا الانتقال تركيا، على التقرب من المجتمعات الغربية، إذ اقتبست معالم كثيرة من الفكر الغربي، وكانت الغاية من ذلك الاندماج مع هذه المجتمعات، ولاسيما ان ظروف ما بعد الحرب العالمية الثانية، دفعت دولاً كثيرة لتبني التعددية الحزبية بعد انهيار نظام الحزب الواحد في اوربا، وتركيا التي حاولت التقرب من الاسرة المسيحية الاوربية كانت لاتقبل فيها بنظام الحزب ال
