• حصل على ليسانس تاريخ من جامعة الإمام محمد بن سعود الاسلامية بتقدير ممتاز
• ثم ماجستير بتقدير ممتاز, من نفس الجامعة , وعنوان البحث: (عبد الله ابن سبأ وأثره في أحداث الفتنة في صدر الاسلام).
• ثم حصل على دكتوراه بتقدير ممتاز, من نفس الجامعة , وعنوان البحث: (السيرة النبوية في الصحيحين عن ابن إسحاق ودراسة مقارنة في العهد المكي).
• وحصل على لقب «أستاذ مشارك» مع مرتبة الشرف الأولى , وعنوان البحث: (ابن سبا والسبئية من غير طريق سيف بن عمر).
• يعمل حاليا أستاذا مشاركا بقسم التاريخ بكلية العلوم العربية والاجتماعية بالقصيم وأستاذا للتاريخ الإسلامي بجامعة الإمام محمد بن سعود الإسلامية بالقصيم
