ولد الكاتب الأردني سعود مصبّح قبيلات في قرية مليح بمادبا- الأردن في العاشر من تشرين الأول من عام 1955.
حاصل على شهادة بكالوريس في علم النفس من الجامعة الأردنية عام 1984.
رئيس تحرير مجلة " أفكار" التي تصدر عن وزارة الثقافة الأردنية.
رئيس رابطة الكتّاب الأردنيّين ( 2007-2011).
وهو النائب الأوّل للأمين العام للاتحاد العام للأدباء والكتاب العرب- القاهرة.

Book Description
"تعطلت حافلتنا في محطة على الطريق، وبعد يأس من إمكانية إصلاحها، تفرق الركاب كل في اتجاه، بينما جلست أنا على رصيف المحطة أنتظر. مر يوم، ثم ثانٍ، ثم نالت... شهر، ثم ثانٍ، ثم نالت... وسنة، ثم ثانية... تصلبت أطرافي، ثم تلتها بقية جسمي، وشيئاً فشيئاً تحجرت وتحولت إلى تمثال حزين صار مع الزمن جزءاً أصيلاً وحميماً من المحطة، إلى درجة أن بعض الناس. ممن يمرون من هنا. أصبح يفيء إلى ظلي، وبعضهم الآخر يتكئ على جسدي، وسواهم يتخلص من فضلاته في فنائي. ومع توالي السنين، أصاب الصدأ الحافلة ونخرها مثل سوس شره حتى تلاشت. كما تغيرت معالم المكان وذهب ناس وجاء وساهم. أما أنا فلا أزال في مكاني على رصيف المحطة!".
بين دفتي هذا الكتاب حكايات غريبة لرجل غريب صار تمثالاً بعدما انقطعت به السبل طويلاً في محطة لم تعد تأتي إليها الحافلات. وكان في أثناء انتظاره الطويل يتسلى بسرد حكاياته تلك على مسامع العابرين، أو ينقشها على قاعدته وجسده الجرانيتيين. وحيث أن الرجل (التمثال) كان، في كل مرة يصادف مستمعاً مختلفاً، كما أنه، مع طول لزمان وثبات الأحوال، كف عن عد الأيام والسنين، فقد خلت حكاياته من أي تحديد للزمان أو تعيين للمكان، بل وأيضاً لم تشتمل على أي رابط يربط بينها، عدا بعض التفاصيل المتكررة في عدد منها.
