لاشك في أن البيئة الجاهلية لم تكن بعيدة كل البعد عن الجو العام الذي يحمل في داخله بذور الغربة.
فالنظام القبلي بما يحمل من نظرة واحدة شاملة لجميع أفراده، لا يعني أن الإحساس بالغربة فيه معدوم. فالاتجاه الفردي والذاتي لدى الشعراء خاصة، لا يستطيع الركون إلى هذه "التسوية" التي تحد من انطلاق الذات وبحثها عن فرديتها الخاصة كما يتضح من الفصل الأول.
وكان سوء توزيع الثروة في هذه الب لاشك في أن البيئة الجاهلية لم تكن بعيدة كل البعد عن الجو العام الذي يحمل في داخله بذور الغربة.

وكان سوء توزيع الثروة في هذه البيئة الجاهلية وراء شعور المعدمين بالغربة داخل هذا المجمع والتمرد عليه ومحاربته كما نرى في الفصل الثاني.
وقد يواجه الشاعر الجاهلي "مشكلة الموت" ويقف إزاءها موقفا لا يخلو من إحساس بالعبثية والمفارقة، وقد نجد في بعض النصوص الشعرية ملامحاً من تفكير وجودي يغلق فهم الشاعر للحياة وإدراكه لها بطريقة تدعم هذا الفهم وتؤديه وقد يستبين ذلك إذا سلمنا بأن الشاعر في هذه الحقبة من التاريخ، كان بعيداً عن أي عقيدة دينية محددة واضحة، كما أشرنا في الفصل الثالث.
وربما جاز لنا أن نقول أن الفصل الثالث والرابع يحملان نزعة التأمل في حياة الشاعر الجاهلي، حيث يكشف عن غربته وضياعه في مواجهة الموت والزمن، وموقفه منهما وتمرده عليهما بطريقة فنية لا تخلو من تفلسف، وإن كانت بعيدة عن تيار الفسلفة التقليدي.
ونأمل أن نكون قد وفقنا بعض التوفيق إلى عرض فكرتي البحث "التمرد والغربة" في الشعر الجاهلي.
