إن هذه المساهمات ينتظمها هاجس أساس هو الذي ركزنا مضمونه في المبدأ العام "العقل في الحوار قبل الحوار في العقل". ولا يخفى ما نرمي إليه من وراء هذا القول العام، فقد أصبح الوصل بين العقل والحوار أمراً لازماً لتقويم الفكر وتصحيح مساره، فالدعوى التي نقررها في هذه الصفحات أن "الحوار في العقل" لا يستقيم إلا بعد ضمان "العقل في الحوار"، أي أننا حاولنا بيان أن الحاجة ماسة إلى إحلال العقل ومقتضياته في الحوار، قبل أن نباشر الحوار في العقل وقضاياه المتنوعة، لأنه يغدو بذلك محض جعجعة بلا نفع، ومجرد خبط في خرط، لا طائل من ورائه غير تكثير القول وما أزهدنا فيه، وإهدار الجهد وما أحوجنا إليه.
