يحوى هذا الكتاب سبعة عشر قصة قصيرة من واقع الحياة والمجتمع المصري فستهل المؤلف مجموعته بقصه قصيرة بعنوان اللهم اجعله خيرا تتحدث عن أحلام رجل فى ان يمتلك شقة تطل على البحر مباشرة فى مدينة الإسكندرية وباختصار وهدوء يصف مشاعر وقصة حياة البطل فى اقل مساحة ممكنه ثم تلنها قصه أخرى بعنوان الوسام تروى طفلين صغيرين يخوضان مغامرة هى فى أذهاننا جميعا بسيطة وتافهة ولكنه تناولها من وجهة نظر الطفلين ومن خلال مشاعرهما يصف لنا بالتفصيل مشاعرا كلنا عشناها فى طفولتنا ولكن نسيناها ولم ينساها المؤلف ويستمر فى سرد قصصه القصيرة فى تنوع واصفا لك الأحداث كأنة يروى لك ذكريات خيالية فهو يمزج الواقع بالخيال فى أحداث تشد القارئ وتضفى عليه لمحة من الشجن وتشده الى الحكمة والتأمل وكأنه يعيش هذه الأحداث بنفسه.
