لا أُذنَيْن له تسمَعُ توسُّلاتِنا، لا عين ترى عذاباتنا، يتسلم زمامَ حياتنا ويجرفُنا بقَسوةٍ إلى دهاليزه، ومن هناك تبدأ أرواحُنا بالتمرد...
قاتَلني في عُقر داري، لكنّي لم استسلمْ له ولم يحظ بي، انتزعته من أعماقي وبعثَرته فوق أوراقي ليُصبح كتاباً شاهداً على إنكساراتي وإنتصاراتي.
كتابي ليسَ مأساوياً، بلْ هو رسالةُ تحدٍّ وأملٍ في وَجهْ... الزمن.
قاتلني في عقر داري لكني لم أستسلم له، ولم يحظ بي، انتزعته من أعماقي ورميته بعيداً عن حياتي، بعثرته فوق أوراقي، هذا الخبيث الذي يستوطن الجسد ويأسر الروح ويجرنا إلى دهاليزه المظلمة ويرمينا في متاهاته، وهناك تبدأ أجسادنا بالصراع من أجل البقاء.
لست كاتبة أو أدبية، ولم أتخيل أنني سأصدر كتاباً يوماً ما، ولكنني أؤمن بأن الأدب ينبع من شريان الحياة، وأنا ابنة التجربة، فأوراقي صفحات من حياتي، وكلماتي هي نبضات قلبي، والسطور خارطة طريق تمر فوق جراحاتي وإنكساراتي.
أما ما يمكن بين السطور فهو نسيم روحي الذي تغلغل في عمق التجربة المريرة لأخرج منها أكثر قوةً على مجابهة مصاعب الأيام، وأكثر تمسكاً بالحياة، وأكثر إيماناً بأننا نولد من رحم أمهاتنا أطفالاً حتى تلفحنا الحياة بتجاربها، فتمتحن إرادتنا، وتخبر صبرنا وثبات إيماننا، ثم توشمنا بالنضج لنستحق بعدها الحياة الهائلة.
وتجدر الإشارة أن عائدات هذا الكتاب تعود إلى "مركز وأبحاث مرضى السرطان".
