هذا هو المعجم الاصغر في سلسلة "المغني"، وهو يضم حوالي 25.000 مدخل.
انه معجم مدرسي يفيد منه الطلاب في آخر المرحلة الابتدائية وفي المرحلة الاعدادية. ولهذا روعي في تأليفه ان يلائم عمر الطالب، من ناحيتي المضمون واللغة، فمفرداته - العربية والانكليزية - دقيقة واضحة، ولا تخرج عن نطاق مستواه الفكري واللغوي.
ونظرا لان اللفظ الصحيح للكلمات الانكليزية ضرورة ماسة، فقد تضمن المعجم اراشاد هذا هو المعجم الاصغر في سلسلة "المغني"، وهو يضم حوالي 25.000 مدخل.
