تتناول رواية "إبرة الرعب" عدّة موضوعات من خلال محاور متداخلة، منها التعرّف المغلوط إلى العالم، والردّ العنيف على الظلم اللاحق بالشخصيّة، ومحاولة الشخصية الانتقام لتاريخ مديد، ثمّ الدخول في تفاصيل الفساد والتهميش والإتجار بالبشر، والتحوّل الجنسيّ، وبعض ممهّدات التطرّف، ودور بعض السوريّين في الحرب الأهلية اللبنانية، وكلّ ذلك في سياق روائيّ، يصوّر عدّة أمكنة، ابتداء من قرية ن تتناول رواية "إبرة الرعب" عدّة موضوعات من خلال محاور متداخلة، منها التعرّف المغلوط إلى العالم، والردّ العنيف على الظلم اللاحق بالشخصيّة، ومحاولة الشخصية الانتقام لتاريخ مديد، ثمّ الدخول في تفاصيل الفساد والتهميش والإتجار بالبشر، والتحوّل الجنسيّ، وبعض ممهّدات التطرّف، ودور بعض السوريّين في الحرب الأهلية اللبنانية، وكلّ ذلك في سياق روائيّ، يصوّر عدّة أمكنة، ابتداء من قرية نائية في شمالي شرقي سورياً ومروراً بدمشق وريفها وصولاً إلى بيروت. وقد اعتمد الكاتب في هذه الرواية تعدّد أصوات الرواة، وحاول الخوض في موضوعات إشكاليّة خطيرة، متجاوزاً الخطوط الحمر التي تفرضها الأنظمة السياسيّة أو المنظومة الاجتماعيّة.
