بعد سقوطِ الأندلس، قاوم جزءٌ كبير من أهلها محاولاتِ تهجيرهم من أرضهم وأرضِ أجدادهم؛ فتعايشوا مع مصيرِهِم الجديد, وواجهوا قسوتَه المُفرطة مُحافظينَ- قدْرَ استطاعتهم- على عقيدتهم وتراثِهم الثّري. ولكنْ معَ تعاقُب الأجيال التي واجهت آلة البطش والقمع الاستعمارية؛ تبدّلت مُعتقدات أهل الأندلس, وذابوا- تدريجيًّا- في واقعهم المستحدَث، حتّى بعث الله رجلًا أحيا مِن جديد هويّتَهم في نفوسهم بعدَ أنا أنار له الطّريق، فألهمَه أنْ يخوض رحلة المثوى الأخير لآخرِ ملوك إشبيلية ومعظم بلاد الأندلس زمنَ ملوك الطوائف، الملك الشّاعر المعتمد بن عباد.
رحلةٌ نقّب بطلُنا- من خلالها- عنْ أصل عقيدته ودينِ أجداده. رحلةٌ من ضفاف الشّك إلى شاطئ اليقين، وبين مُنعطفات أحداثها الشّيقة نتعرّف على قصّة الأندلس كاملة، من بداية التّاريخ حتّى الوقت المعاصر لبطل الرّواية، "بلاس إنفانتي بيريث دي بارغاس" أبي الهوية الأندلسيّة. ولا غالبَ إلّا الله.
