وفي هذا الكتاب يمر المؤلف على الأحداث الكبرى التي لابست حياة فرانكلين روزفلت، مثل الكساد الكبير كأعظم حدث اقتصادي داهم العالم في القرن العشرين، والحرب العالمية الثانية التي عاش روزفلت ليراها توشك على النهاية، ولكنه لم يقدر له مشهد النهاية التي خطاها قبل ذلك بإنشاء المفاعل الذري الأمريكي، كما يورد المؤلف ما يؤكد على أن تدهور حال الأمة الإسلامية كان له أثر عميق في خدمة الإستراتيجية الصهيوأمريكية في المنطقة آنذاك.. وحتى اليوم.
