يحكي في صفحاته قصة عدد من الأطباء الأمريكيين الذين كان لهم إسهام واضح في تقديم الرعاية الصحية للمرضى في المملكة العربية السعودية خلال عهد الملك عبدالعزيز رحمه الله. وقد ضم الكتاب عدداً من كتابات أولئك الأطباء التي يروون فيها تجاربهم في العمل الطبي في المملكة، إلى جانب إجراء عدد من العمليات الجراحية التي زادت عن سبعة عشر ألف عملية، وذلك خلال زيارتهم المتصلة للمملكة والتي اب يحكي في صفحاته قصة عدد من الأطباء الأمريكيين الذين كان لهم إسهام واضح في تقديم الرعاية الصحية للمرضى في المملكة العربية السعودية خلال عهد الملك عبدالعزيز رحمه الله. وقد ضم الكتاب عدداً من كتابات أولئك الأطباء التي يروون فيها تجاربهم في العمل الطبي في المملكة، إلى جانب إجراء عدد من العمليات الجراحية التي زادت عن سبعة عشر ألف عملية، وذلك خلال زيارتهم المتصلة للمملكة والتي ابتدأت من العام 1913م، ونوقفت عام 1955م. وقد صاغ المؤلف كتابه بطريقة قصصية، وزودّه بصور توضيحية نادرة، وضمنَّه عدداً من المشاعر الطيبة التي حملها أولئك الإطباء عن المجتمع السعودي المسلم وقيادته الوفية لشعبها.
