كما يعبر الجدل بين الفيلسوفين المغربيين عن النقاش الفلسفي المثمر الذي أنتجه العقل العربي من خلال تفاعله مع الفكر اليوناني لفهم مدونة الإسلام، بما هو مرجع نظر وعمل للفيلسوف العربي، وبما أبدعه من خلال إمكاناته التفكيرية الذاتية المستندة إلى أطره المرجعية والحضارية.
وقد ركزنا في هذا الكتاب على الجدل الفلسفي بين الجابري وطه عبد الرحمن من خلال البحث اللغوي؛ إيماناً منا بأن البحث اللغوي، بمفهومه المعرفي، يختزل الترابط بين اللغوي والديني والفلسفي والنفسي، إضافةً إلى أن اللغة تختزل الرؤية الإدراكية للفيلسوف للكون، وهي التي يعبر من خلالها الفيلسوف عن بنائه الفلسفي وقدرته التفسيرية ونموذجه المعرفي.
