عبدالله جوادی آملی، فیلسوف، فقیه، مفسر قرآن، مدرّس حوزه علمیه قم و از مراجع تقلید شیعه. علومی چون فلسفه، عرفان، فقه و تفسیر را تدریس کرده است. وی کتابهای بسیاری نوشته است که تفسیر تسنیم و رحیق مختوم (شرح اسفار اربعه) از جمله آنها است. جوادی آملی در فلسفه پیرو حکمت مُتعالیه است. او وجود علم دینی در حوزه علوم انسانی و تجربی را میپذیرد. برخی از فتواهای متفاوت وی عبارت است از: جایزبودن تقلید زنان از مرجع تقلید زن، جایزبودن تغییر جنسیت و طهارت اهل کتاب.
Grand Ayatollah Abdollah Javadi-Amoli (Persian: عبدالله جوادی آملی) is an Iranian Twelver Shi'a Marja. He is a conservative Iranian politician and one of the prominent Islamic scholars of the Hawza in Qom. The official website for his scientific foundation, Isra, describes him as a well-known, outstanding thinker in various fields of Islamic sciences and a distinguished figure in exegesis, jurisprudence, philosophy and mysticism. It is further states that his ideas and views have been reinforcing the Islamic Republic of Iran since the 1979 Islamic Revolution, and that "his strategic and enlightening guidance" has been "extremely constructive" during the past three decades.
