الفراغ هو ألا ترتبط بشيء، ألا تبحث عن شيء، وألا تنتظر شيئا، هو منطقة حرة لتأسيس تعال، ينطلق من توقيف الأحكام وتعليق الكون، ومن جعل ذات الواقف تكتشف ما يحجبها عن نفسها. لذلك شدد النفري على أن الفراغ قوة واتساع ونور.
المخيف في الفراغ ما يتطلبه الطريق إليه، طريق ينفرد بأهله، ما دامت تجربة الفراغ تخص من لا فكاك له من مخاطرة تقتضي ما سماءه النفري بالصبر الشاب، مخاطرة هي عينها الخلاص الممكن، المخيف، أيضا، في الفراغ الاعتقاد بأنه فارغ، اعتقاد تهدمه تجربة النفري بكشفها أن الفراغ الاعتقاد بأنه فارغ، الفراغ ممد، واهب، مؤت، نتوج. الفراغ خروج من زمن امتلاك الشيء إلى زمن التحرر منه. الفراغ انتساب إلى مستحيل لا ينفتح الإمكان فيه إلا كي يغذي الاستحالة.
