سعيد يقطين ناقد وباحث مغربي، ولد في مدينة الدار البيضاء في 8 مايو 1955 وقد عرف باهتماماته البحثية والاكاديمية في مجال السرديات العربية ونحت مفاهيمها وتتبع مكوناتها في النصوص العربية القديمة والحديثة.تلقى تعليمه الأولي في الكٌتاب بالدار البيضاء، ثم في المدرسة الابتدائية للتعليم، وأكمل تعليمه الإعدادي والثانوي والجامعي بمدينة فاس، وحصل على الدكتوراه من جامعة محمد الخامس في الرباط.

ان هذه التجربة الروائية الجديدة ببلادنا ، ليست معزولة عما يجري في وطننا العربي من إسهامات في هذا السبيل . إنها جزء منها ، وتنويع على العديد من إنجازاتها في الشعر والسرد والمسرح ، والتشكيل ، والسينما . من السهولة بمكان التموقف من هذا التجربة سلبا ، ومن اليسير التعصب لها إيجابا ، وكم هي شاقة وصعبة قراءتها ودراستها ولذلك لا نكاد نعثر على مواكبة رائدة على مستوى القراءة لهذه ال ان هذه التجربة الروائية الجديدة ببلادنا ، ليست معزولة عما يجري في وطننا العربي من إسهامات في هذا السبيل . إنها جزء منها ، وتنويع على العديد من إنجازاتها في الشعر والسرد والمسرح ، والتشكيل ، والسينما . من السهولة بمكان التموقف من هذا التجربة سلبا ، ومن اليسير التعصب لها إيجابا ، وكم هي شاقة وصعبة قراءتها ودراستها ولذلك لا نكاد نعثر على مواكبة رائدة على مستوى القراءة لهذه التجربة : لأن من أولى أوليات ذلك أن تكون القراءة جديدة : فالتجربة الجديدة تستدعي القراءة الجديدة ، ولا يمكن أن تنهض القراءة الجديدة بذلك . مالم تكن هناك التجربة الأصيلة ، وأقصد الجديدة ، وليست صفة الجديد هنا متصلة بالزمن ، ومستعملة كنقيض للقديم ، ولكنها مرتبطة بمدى إنتاجيتها المتميزة عن إعادات الإنتاج السائدة ، ومدى فعلها في إقرار متغيرات جديدة في ممارسة الإنتاج الأدبي و النقدي والفكري عموما .
