م / صدر عن دار الكتب الوطنية التابعة لهيئة أبوظبي للسياحة والثقافة مجموعة "المفضليات" في عشرة أجزاء صغيرة الحجم ضمن سلسلة "ديوان العرب" المخصصة لاستعادة الموروث الشعري العربي العريق واعادة تقديمه للقاريء المعاصر وترجمة معانيها بلغة ميسرة.
ويعد كتاب "المفضليات" أقدم مدونة وضعت في اختيار الشعر العربي إذ جمعها المفضل بن محمد الضبي في القرن الثاني الهجري حيث جمع فيها جيد أشعار م / صدر عن دار الكتب الوطنية التابعة لهيئة أبوظبي للسياحة والثقافة مجموعة "المفضليات" في عشرة أجزاء صغيرة الحجم ضمن سلسلة "ديوان العرب" المخصصة لاستعادة الموروث الشعري العربي العريق واعادة تقديمه للقاريء المعاصر وترجمة معانيها بلغة ميسرة.
ويعد كتاب "المفضليات" أقدم مدونة وضعت في اختيار الشعر العربي إذ جمعها المفضل بن محمد الضبي في القرن الثاني الهجري حيث جمع فيها جيد أشعار الجاهليين والمخضرمين والإسلاميين وسماها في الأصل "كتاب الاختيارات" لكنها سميت بعد ذلك بإسمه ورواها عنه العلماء حتى صار يكفي في توثيق القصيدة أنها "مفضلية".
وقام بتحرير المجموعة والتعليق على حواشيها الباحث محمد علي الحسني ويذكر أن " المجموعة تشتمل على قصائد منتقاة وتم اختيار /17/ قصيدة منها لـ/14/ شاعرا وكان معيار الاختيار أن تجمع القصيدة أمرين معا الطول والحسن".
كما يقدم الباحث ترجمة موجزة لسيرة كل شاعر تتضمن سبب اختيار قصيدته ضمن المجموعة وقام بضبط الأبيات بالشكل الوافي وشرح الأبيات باختصار.
