يقول الكاتب:
قصة الكتاب أنني رأيت في رمضان شهراً تختلف فيه العادات والأوقات الزمنية والأرواح الإنسانية بكل بساطة شهراً هو وحدة زمنية كونية مستقلة بذاتها تماماً.. وعلى ذلك وبما أنني مهووسٌ بقضيتي ورسالتي وهي (إعادة دور الكتاب كأداة من أدوات صناعة النهضة).. قررت تأليف كتاب يملأ ذلك الفراغ الخاص بالقراءة في الشهر الكريم.. خاصةً أنها قطعة مفقودة في الطرح المعرفي وفي رفوف المكتب يقول الكاتب:
